Sport
My career, my story
Passion is the fuel of life. In each of us, there is a spark waiting to ignite – a fire that gives us purpose, energy, joie de vivre. Some people know what their passion is from the very beginning. I wasn’t one of them. I had to chase mine.
Growing up, I played every sport I could: hockey, lacrosse, soccer, badminton. I enjoyed them all, yet none ever left me truly hungry for more. I was still searching for the thing that would make me feel alive in a way nothing else did.
At age 13, I was introduced to cycling. It’s not that I hadn’t ridden bikes before – in fact, I’ve been riding bikes for as long as I can remember. But I hadn’t ever cycled competitively. Looking for a new adventure, I came across a local youth cycling club called Devo. My life would be forever changed.
Not only did I learn technical riding skills and how to ride safely, I also discovered an entirely new feeling – exhilaration! The marriage of freedom on a bike, excitement of competition, and thrill of speed gave me something that I didn’t even know I was looking for – my passion.
From that initial spark, I never could have imagined what the pursuant years would hold:
UCI Tissot Track Cycling World Cup Silver Medalist
Six-time Canadian National Champion
Two-time Canadian National Record Holder
UCI Tissot Track Cycling World Championship Top 10
Years of training at the highest level taught me what excellence demands, and what resilience truly is. Early mornings. Tired legs. Pain barriers. Broken bones. Travel. Pressure. Sacrifice. Successes to savour and failures to overcome. Everything earned. No guarantees.
Along the way, I was supported by world-class partners who believed in my ambitions: Cervélo, Specialized, Assos of Switzerland, Apidura, and Power2Max. Their support helped carry me through some of the most defining moments of my life.
I didn’t grow up knowing I’d become an international-level cyclist. I simply followed a feeling – a thrill – and committed to pursuing it with everything I had.
The pursuit of excellence continues to drive me to learn more, to push harder, to stay curious. That original spark from age 13 has never faded.
Cycling didn’t just give me a sport. It gave me my passion, and that’s something that still burns deep within.

604 Project Racing
After competing at the highest level of cycling, I wanted to give back to the sport that shaped me.
604 Project Racing was created to solve a clear problem in Vancouver’s cycling landscape: there were community clubs without competitive support, and elite teams requiring full-time athletic commitment. There was nothing built for the athletes in between – the ones who juggle careers, academics, and a genuine desire to race at a high level.
So we built the bridge.
As Co-Founder and Finance Director, I helped shape a team designed for riders like me: driven, ambitious, and balancing life while still pursuing excellence on and off the bike.
We believe that elite performance doesn’t need to be exclusive, and that cycling can serve a greater purpose. That’s why our team rides in partnership with HeadsUpGuys, the world’s leading men’s mental health resource – using sport as a platform for conversation, awareness, and community impact.
We’re building more than a race team, we’re driving a social movement.
What we’ve built so far
In our first season together, the team delivered:
40+ race starts and 30+ podium finishes across all categories
A standout performance at the Gastown Grand Prix in front of 30,000 spectators
A roster of 21 talented athletes – capped to maintain high standards
Momentum that drew overwhelming rider interest
Every race. Every ride. We’re advocating for men’s mental health.
How we’re shaping the future of cycling
We exist to redefine what it means to race bikes in Vancouver, to make elite performance accessible, supported, and rooted in community. Our team stands for something far more important than just results: creating space for purpose, connection, and open conversations about mental health. 604 Project Racing is committed to building athletes while fostering a culture that supports the person behind the performance. This is the team we wished existed when we were coming up – and now, we’re building it for the next generation.
